Welcome to Our Home

We are so happy you found us! 

We are Rob and Joanne.  We own Christy Creek Honey here in Lac La Biche County. We are located about 20 minutes south of the town of Lac La Biche. Rob grew up on the land that we are located. His Dad and brothers built the log homes on our property, one of which is our Bee Boutique.  A swarm in the roof of the Bee Boutique got Rob thinking about his childhood when his family had bees.  He rescued those bees and began our family bee business.  

We are both recently retired from careers in education (school administrator and children's programmer).  Rob is the beekeeper, and we both work together building, planning and gardening.  We find joy in educating others about bees and getting to know our guests. 

 We encourage others to experience the bees here at Christy Creek Honey! We love to share our knowledge, our bees, and our home with our guests.
